God knows the details of our lives. If he knows the number of hairs on our heads, then I think he cares about the details. He knows the plans he has for each person. We have to show up and obey and walk in faith.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16

With willing hearts and waiting on God, we can walk out the life journey he has for each of us. Perhaps something we are doing is just a step on the growing path. It may seem insignificant, but it could lead to something else God has planned.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

He knows the details. We may not know the details. We can pray about the details. We need to “just show up.” Just show up was the phrase God gave me a while back. It has helped me to proceed in my life when things are uncertain. If I am anxious about the unknown, it helps me to remind myself that God has the situation under control. I need to walk by the Spirit and just show up.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD!
Psalm 31:24
God’s timing is perfect. Follow Him and wait on his perfect timing. Seek His will continually about the question you have. Proceed in faith in Jesus Christ. Walk by the spirit. Show up with a willing and trusting heart. Give all praise and glory to God, and thank Him for each answered prayer and blessing. Thank Him even in the tough times, having faith that God will work those tough times for good.
